dayGLANCE
Your day, at a glance.
dayGLANCE is a daily planner built around the idea that structure and stillness aren't opposites. Set a clear intention each morning, capture what comes up throughout the day, and end with a moment of reflection.
No kanban boards. No backlog overwhelm. Just today, held simply and clearly.

What it does
Core
- ◆ Visual timeline: Platform-specific timeline views that make your day tangible. Drag, drop, see where time goes.
- ◆ Capture and process: GTD-style inbox with priorities and tags. Get things out of your head and into your day.
- ◆ Focus modes: Pomodoro timer for deep work, plus hyperGLANCE: a project-specific focus mode that brings the project together.
- ◆ Multi-User: Share your workspace with household members and filter your view to only your tasks. Solo users are unaffected.
Optional
Habits and routines help you organize your day. Goals and projects map to your long term plans. Sync with Calendar, Health, and your Obsidian vault. Bring your own AI key to enable various functionalities to assist you in planning. All off by default.
Cloud Sync
Optional sync across your devices. No GLANCE Apps account. No GLANCE Apps servers. Zero-knowledge encrypted to a destination you control: WebDAV, Nextcloud, GLANCEvault (beta), or iCloud Drive (soon). Off by default.
GLANCEintents
Receive tasks from lastGLANCE and send completion tasks when work is done. Send or receive goals to lifeGLANCE as milestones and track completion. Off by default.
AI Assistants
Connect Claude Desktop, Claude Code, or any compatible assistant to dayGLANCE through a small local server built on the Model Context Protocol, an open standard for AI tool connections. An assistant can read your schedule, tasks, inbox, goals, and projects, and can create, edit, schedule, and complete tasks for you. Every change it makes is journaled and can be undone per task or all at once.
Know before you enable it: anything an assistant reads is sent to that assistant's model provider (for Claude, that is Anthropic). The server listens only on your own computer and is never reachable from the network. Off by default, with reads, writes, and device calendar access each its own opt-in under Settings, then Local Integrations.
Setup for Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and everything else is covered in the bridge README.
Open Source
